What A Man Can Do

The title track, tagged the proposal song, is my favorite on the album. The lyric offers a sense of honesty as a man tries to convince his lady that he’s the one for her. “He looks at a soul, the beauty inside / Offers his whole heart with nothing to hide.”

From the delicate guitar and piano intro to the powerful finish, I’m really proud of this production. Marcus Wolf’’s guitar solo took a bluesy turn that we didn’t plan on but absolutely loved and saxophonist David Mann’s horn arrangements delivered a subtle backdrop that worked perfectly.  Buy now!

Can I take you out tonight?
A walk on the beach
Or dine by candlelight

Deep conversation
Or gentle persuasion
Let me be what you need

I can be a shoulder to cry on
I can be a friend to depend on

Let me show you what a man can do
Be strong and sensitive for you
Let me show you what a man can do
Baby let me show you

It’s not about the physical, no no
A real man looks far beyond skin deep

He looks at a soul
The beauty inside
He offers his whole heart
With nothing to hide

Trust, baby trust your heart this time
I will leave no doubt
No doubt in your mind
Just let these words ring true
I love you with all that I am
